Underwater Telecommunications Cable Damaged as Shoethrower throws Shoes

The famous Iraqi shoethrower (or depleted uranium thrower) has struck again. This time, he swam to the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, and threw his shoes at an underwater telecommunications cable, severely affecting phone and internet connectivity throughout the Middle East.

Upon surfacing, the man said that the cable was a ‘dog’, and proceeded to run naked through the streets of Alexandria. Police could not capture the man, as he attacked them with a seemingly endless supply of shoes. We do not know where the shoes came from, but we can guess.

The attack has left much of Egypt without communications, and as such the nation’s score on Bush-bashing games has decreased significantly. On a side note, the United States is number 1.

  1. So the Shoethrower has gone amok! I hope next time he throws his shoes at his native president.

  2. There could be a fight between him, his native president, Bush, Obama, etc. ONLY with shoes! πŸ˜‰

  3. As long as his shoes aren’t nuclear.
